Meet your photographer
Hi, I’m Madison! I’m a fine art wedding and portrait photographer based in Charleston, West Virginia, but first and foremost, I’m a wife, mother, and follower of Jesus. I’m a sucker the parts of life that let me slow down and soak it all in — slow mornings with my family, exploring new places, curling up with a good book, and capturing my favorite moments on film.
I’ve had some kind of camera in my hands for as long as I can remember, but I picked up my first professional camera in middle school (thanks, Grandpa!) and never looked back. I began documenting my own daily life and travels, as well as special moments for my friends and family, and I quickly fell in love with the art of it all and the gift of preserving our most precious memories.
After visiting Europe for the first time in 2015 with my grandparents, I became captivated with travel and documenting beautiful destinations. I have my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography; my formal education opened my eyes to the artistry and intention behind fine art and editorial photography. I was fully immersed in the creative, emotional, and aesthetic aspects of the craft which lends to a very unique approach to wedding and portrait photography. I got to travel all over the world capturing sublime landscapes, ancient architecture, and interesting people, all while advancing my skills and honing my style.
